The next generation of world-class engineers at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is reaching for the sky thanks to the Kiewit Scholars Program.
The program, a partnership between the university’s College of Engineering and the Kiewit Corporation, provides 10 students each year with full-tuition scholarships, travel opportunities and more. Kiewit Scholars will complete a four-year cohort program, gaining the skills and knowledge necessary to become leaders in the building industry.
Through support to the N Fund – College of Engineering, students in the Kiewit Scholars Program benefit from several unique opportunities beyond scholarship support and housing for first-year scholars, including:
- book and education abroad stipends;
- out-of-state immersive learning experiences; and
- guaranteed internships with Kiewit.
You can continue to support the Kiewit Scholars Program, along with other priority projects and opportunities within the College of Engineering, by making a gift to the N Fund – College of Engineering today.

A gift to this fund supports the greatest needs of the College of Engineering and allows the dean to respond to priority projects and opportunities as they arise.
“I had the unique opportunity as a Kiewit Scholar over the past four years to see the day-to-day progression of a large-scale civil Kiewit project on campus: Kiewit Hall.”
